The Best Mini Infused Pre-Roll Brands I've Found in NYC Smoke Shops

I love to smoke! There’s but a handful of things that feel as good as that first pull from a perfectly rolled spiff. And, as of lately, I’ve ditched buying flower and Big Bambu Rolling Papers in flavor of smoking pre-rolls, leading me on a quest to discover the best pre-roll brands I can aquire at the smoke shops in New York City.

But how did we turn into Smokey the Bear?

A lover! Six months into a situation with a certified SMOKER seven years ago, at 24 years old, I took my first pull. Although they're long gone from my love life, the introduction they gave me to the devil's lettuce has grown into a full-blown love affair with Ms. Mary Jane. Today, as I eloquently put it to my new boo, 'I love to smoke!' That love has taken me from eighths lasting a week to being smoked in a day and from different plugs to dispensaries once recreational weed became legal in NYC.

Gradually, I started purchasing flowers less and pre-rolls more. All of the kief-dusted wraps, wax coatings, new strains, diamonds, and heightened THC levels pulled me into the world of ready-to-smoke ganja. For most of 2023, I spent my weed budget smoking different pre-rolls, from your standard $10 raw papers-stuffed pre-roll to finding my love for brand-named mini pre-roll joints and blunts with all the infusions. The .5 pre-rolls may be small, but for a quick smoke, they pack a powerful punch --if you never smoked one before, prepare to get high as hell-- and since your favorite fashion editor is on a quest to smoke them all, here's my favorite mini infused pre-roll brands I've found in New York City smoke shops.

5 BEST PRE-ROLL BRANDS I'VE FOUND IN NYC SMOKE SHOPS

  1. Stiiizy 40'S Infused Blunts

  2. Boutiq Live Diamond Infused Joints

  3. Baby Jeeter Pre-Roll Infused W/ Diamonds

  4. Sherbinskis Live Diamond-Infused Pre-Rolls

  5. Packwood Pack Mini Bursts Infused Joints

STIIIZY 40'S INFUSED BLUNTS

In all my years of smoking, I've never been a blunt smoker until I accidentally discovered the Stiiizy Infused 40s. They were also my introduction to more potent weed. The Stiiizy Infused 40s Blunts come rolled in a kief-dusted tobacco-free hemp wrap with a glass tip, which ensures a perfect pull every time —Pro Tip: glass filter pre-rolls tend to have better draws than acrylic or paper ones. I smoke the mini Stiiizy Infused 40s Blunts the most because they're easier to find and since being introduced to the blunts, I prefer them over the joints.

BOUTIQ LIVE DIAMOND INFUSED JOINTS

I've only found the Boutiq Live Diamond Infused Mini Joints at one smoke shop on Allerton and Barnes in The Bronx. One of my guys working there explained how the Boutiq's joints are more potent than my usual buy (the Stiiizy blunts) because of the live diamonds. That information was enough for me to want to give them a smoke, and overall, I love the Boutiq! Even after growing a tolerance for the Stiiizy Blunts, the Boutiq's get me RIGHT! Now I'm not a fan of the filter. The pulls aren't as smooth as the Stiiizy blunts, but that's nothing a thin pin can't fix to help create a better draw.

Baby Jeeter Pre-roll Infused w/ diamonds

Baby Jeeter was the first pre-roll brand I tried and my positive experience ultimately led me to try more Baby Jeeter flavors and other pre-roll brands out. At 35% THC, the Baby Jeeter Pre-Rolls are less potent than the Boutiq and the State, but where Baby Jeeter stands out is with their flavors. They have over 30 different strains to choose from, and they're all worth smoking. Baby Jeeters are also easy to find at most smoke shops in New York City versus their competition listed above.

SHERBINSKIS LIVE DIAMOND-INFUSED PRE-ROLLS

I discovered Sherbinskis in a smoker shop I go to in Harlem on 148th & Broadway. Technically, these aren't Sherbinskis mini pre-rolls, but the Sherbinskis Live Diamond-Infused Pre-Rolls are the same size as the blunts and joints on this list. Sherbinskis pre-rolls offer a higher potency and long-lasting lifted experience. I've smoked these a few times and when I feel like switching things up I'll grab a Sherbinskis.

PACKWOOD PACK MINI BURSTS INFUSED JOINTS

Now I have to say I’ve only smoked the Packwood Pack Mini Bursts Infused Joints once, but first, I was a fan, and second, I’ve smoked and enjoyed a lot of Packwood 2-gram pre-roll blunts, and the quality of the mini joints are just the same. I wish these came in mini blunts like the Stiiizy but at least their joints are strong.
