Zyah Belle Has Her Notifications Silenced on Her Latest Single "DND"

California native Zyah Belle is permitting us to turn our phones on do not disturb with her latest summer tune, "DND."

The toe-tapping, finger-snapping track instantly starts with a catchy chorus, "I'm the wrong one to call if you need something, I'm in my own world," before the song moves into verses that blend soft R&B vocals with a rap-like cadence. "This song reminds me not to care too much! Living life on ‘DND’ means being carefree and always accepting of myself! It just feels good! I believe that the energy I invoke while creating can be transmuted to whoever is listening. So, whether you twerk or two-step, you can't listen to this song and not move your body," Bell shared on her latest single.

The release of "DND" is just one of the many accolades that Zyah Belle is adding to her best year ever. This past spring, the singer, songwriter, and producer headlined the first night of cultural agency Trap Heal's UPLIFT Concert In Inglewood, California. Belle also stepped into 2022 with her most recent project, Who's Listening Anyway, named one of the 21 best R&B Albums of 2021 by Vibe Magazine. "It’s so much fun listening to a project not knowing what to expect next musically from producers ROMdeful, Roswell Universe, and others. It’s a rare occurrence these days, but a welcomed one with Zyah Belle’s star on the rise," Datwon Thomas, Editor-in-Chief of Vibe, said of the project that features artist Tempest, AJ Claire, and Innanet James.
