Samm Henshaw Drops New Single and Announces Upcoming " Untidy Soul" Album

Samm Henshaw is giving his fans what they want! The R&B singer took to social media to reveal his latest album, Untidy Soul is on the way.
Henshaw announced the news in two Instagram posts. In the first, a series of photos introduced the album's cover artwork, a grainy image of the artist in motion donning denim, black sunglasses and shoes, and an oversized duffle bag. In the next slide, the British-Nigerian offered a heartfelt message to his fan expressing his excitement to share new music.
"Genuinely freaking out a little & at the time so excited to share the artwork & official release date of Untidy Soul. This has literally felt like the longest experience ever and I'm sure it's felt even longer for you guys, All I can say is thank you all so much for sticking around and allowing me to even have a career after all these years, thank you for the love & support you've shown every time," the "Broke" singer wrote. "Thank you to all the new listeners, old ones & those yet to come. Thank you for your patience, I literally can't wait for you guys to hear this project & to play it for you live!"
Untidy Soul is Samm Henshaw's junior album, following up The Sound Experiment and The Sound Experiment 2 released in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Crediting Kirk Franklin, Lauryn Hill and Marvin Gaye as influences, the South London native has already toured with rapper Chance the Rapper and singer Tori Kelly and garnered over 20 million Spotify streams.
But, not to leave fans waiting until the album's release for new music. Henshaw dropped a new single, "Chicken Wings", which he teased in his second Instagram post sitting in a diner wearing a chicken suit --mask not included. "Cause the heart wants what it wants, and what it wants it's me with some chicken wings," Samm sings on over the old school-inspired hip-hop beat.
Untidy Soul is available for pre-order now and is set to release on January 22nd, 2022.
